IMTA X@ ICPR2026 - Announcement
Upcoming Workshop: IMTA X at ICPR 2026
The 10th edition of the Image Mining: Theory and Applications (IMTA X) workshop will take place on August 21, 2026. Organized as a satellite event of the 28th International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR 2026) in Lyon, France, the workshop will be conducted in a hybrid format, accommodating both in-person and online participation.
Sponsored by the IAPR, IMTA X focuses on integrating modern mathematical frameworks for image analysis and pattern recognition with specific application requirements. The scientific program comprises invited talks, contributed presentations, poster sessions, and structured technical discussions. Core topics encompass methodological advances, new mathematical techniques in image mining, representation models, and the automated processing of ill-structured or incomplete data using artificial intelligence methodologies.
The workshop proceedings will be published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. Additionally, extended versions of selected contributions will be featured in a special issue of the journal Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis: Advances in Mathematical Theory and Applications (Vol. 36, No. 4, 2026).
Attendees of ICPR 2026 are invited to participate in the scheduled sessions. Further information regarding the final program and venue logistics can be found on the official IMTA X website.
